WOOSE, WOOSIE or WIZARD?

Poor choices result in lost crypto assets:

> Selected Exchange: Has high risk due to weak security, e.g. allows withdrawals immediately after password change or does not have 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).

 

> Actions: Lost Private Key, Lost User ID or Password to online exchange, or use of weak password ("qwerty"), or weak 2FA (using info from social media such as Facebook)

 

> Lack of Action: No 2FA. No Backup of Wallets or Authenticators, No Beneficiaries

 

  >> Check if 2FA Active:

        =>Log into email or account, click "Forgot password?". If new temporary password immediately returned

          (without further authorization), there's no 2FA. Contact provider, activate 2FA or change service.

        => Without strong Passwords and 2FA, Hacker can steal bitcoins (or other assets) in minutes.

  >> Backup Wallets and Authenticators: Follow security and safety instructions for lost cellphones or computers.
